Benjamin discovered Ninjutsu in the spring of 2008 and decided, after his first class, that this activity was for him. He developed an instantaneous affection for Estelle and Manolo.

The non-competitive environment allows each kid to progress at his or her own rhythm. Every student receives a lot of attention and encouragement from Estelle and Manolo who are always there and ready to help, everything taking place in an atmosphere of discipline, respect and fun.

After learning the Kata, rolls and different movements, Benjamin is proud of his performances and he has improved his self-confidence a lot.

But first of all, Benjamin likes Ninjutsu because he has fun.

For "Samy", learning Ninjutsu it's been a great help on developping self-confidence and a sense of discipline.

Not the one you get in a regular Martial Art, but the one that makes you live everyday with these principles, and use them in all your daily tasks.

For "Ary", Ninjutsu it's a challenge, and following her sister's example.

She is trying very hard to prove herself as an equal, regardless of her small size and tiny body, she's creating a self discipline and she is using this to achieve other goals.

Alexander has been practising Ninjutsu for a year now and he loves it very much.

Estelle and Manolo’s Dôjô offers a positive environment where everyone is respected.

The non-competitive character of this activity allows everyone to progress at their own rhythm and have fun.

Alexander is always very happy to go to classes. We can see the positive effects of Ninjutsu on Alexander’s physical condition: better reflexes, balance, coordination. His ability to do the rolls really impresses us.

Ninjutsu follows a positive philosophy of life where a combat sport allows the development at the same time of physical abilities and of respect for the people around us.

Thank you Estelle and Manolo.

Testimony – Tristan, 8 years old

By Louise Brunet. October 15, 2008

Tristan is passionate of martial arts. He has been a Ninja Turtles’ “disciple” since he was 3 years old. He makes his own swords and trains at home and he copies their movements for hours on end!

Tristan began his training in Karate Kyokushin, where he showed he has a brave heart. Always the smallest in his age group, he has nevertheless earned several trophies during tournaments.

But this year his curiosity was really stirred when he had the chance to train with “real ninjas”! He was overjoyed from the first class. He liked Manolo and Estelle right away and he asked me if they have children’s classes also on weekends. Now, the first thing he wants to know when he wakes up is if it is a “ninja day”. He ties up his brother and sister using his nawa jutsu techniques and he rolls everywhere in the house!

Ninjutsu gives Tristan the chance to follow his passion and the Bujinkan Dôjô allows him to learn while having fun, in an atmosphere of discipline and respect. I sincerely thank Manolo and Estelle for their expertise, their patience and their enthusiasm!

We often talk about our “dôjô family” with John Sensei and the West Island Karate and we are very happy that we can count Estelle Shihan, Manolo Shihan and the Bujinkan Dôjô among this family!

Domo arigato gozaimasu!

Louise & Tristan
