France: Review Japan seminar in my former Dojo

My former student Fabrice Lhermitte (Shodan, Bujinkan Le Havre) invited me to France to do a seminar about my trip to Japan, in order to inaugurate his Dojo in Havre.

Thank you to the twenty participants for having come to the seminar in August. Particularly to Mickael Lepla and his students, who came especially from Belgium, to the students of the Dojo Laxou in Nancy and of the Dojo in Nantes, as well as to my friends Marie-Valérie (and her son Côme) and Xavier for having come from Paris. Without forgetting, of course, my former students from the Dojo in Louviers, Laetitia, Florian, Maxime, Patric, Mickael and those I saw on the side, like Sophie, Christophe and his little family, and Catherine.

I would also like to thank my teacher Arnaud Cousergue for having advertised this seminar and I’m really sorry I couldn’t drop by Juppie for a visit.

The two seminar days went very well, the atmosphere was relaxed, despite the fact that everyone’s legs were hurting (I don’t understand why, lol). I tried to recreate what I understood from the feeling in Japan and the principles I retained when I was there. I think everybody was happy; in any case, I loved this weekend a lot.

I was really glad to see everyone again after two years; ah yes, it’s been already two years since Manolo and I came to Canada.

I hope to see you all again soon, as enthusiastic as ever. Thanks to Bujinkan, the planet doesn’t seem so big and we’re never isolated.
