Review Japan in our Dojo in Montreal
After my trip to Japan and France, I’m finally back in Canada. And it was a pleasure for me to do a review Japan seminar for our students in Montreal and for my husband, Manolo Serrano, who unfortunately could not go with me this time.
I’d like to thank the fifteen students who came this weekend.
We worked on the Ukemi, Noguchi Sensei style for certain Takagi Yoshin Ryu techniques, as well as certain sword techniques; we saw Nagato Sensei and Senou Sensei type of movements, and twists and controls Oguri Sensei style, some of the controls done more by the presence and the control of the pain, like Sensei is showing us during his classes.
The weekend was very interesting for me, because doing seminars immediately after our trips to Japan allows us to work right away on what we’ve seen and discovered there. It develops our level of understanding and our feeling: the Tamashi, Sainou and Utsuwa.
Thank you to the participants for your training during this weekend.
The next seminar will take place on October 10 and 11: review of the bases (Ten & Chi Ryaku no Maki) and Kakushi Buki (Shuriken, Bo Shuriken, Kusari Fundo...).
Gambatte Kudasai!
